Jeff began playing guitar in high school. Never having formal music lessons, he learned by watching, listening and playing. He learned first by playing with Jeff's brother-in-law, TJ Fletcher. Jeff met Kings Highway drummer Cory Pedalino in college while attending Monmouth University. The two started playing shows together in 2005 and have not stopped since. It was after college that Jeff moved to Hoboken and joined the singer-songwriter scene. This is when he began to take music to a different level, writing songs and being influenced by some of the area's best musicians. This is where Jeff met Kings Highway lead guitarist Kevin Gormley, and the two started doing acoustic gigs together in Hoboken. Next, Jeff brought together Cory and Kevin along together and instantly clicked playing local bars. Due to Michael wanting to pursue his job career Cory, found new bassist John Sayson and Jeff, John and Cory started jamming. Within a month Jeff, Cory, Kevin and John got together and have created what is now known as Kings Highway.
