Chris Benelli
Chris's solid groove and creative approach to music has also led him to many of NYC's top producers and recording engineers. He has worked on projects for Grammy-award winning engineer Richard Oliver Furch of Tribase Productions (Whitney Houston, Me'shell Ndegeocello) and they recently teamed up to produce the upcoming release by singer/songwriter, Joanie Leeds, "Soul From My Footsteps". His involvement in the recording of the db Leonard and the New Europeans' 2003 release, "How Low Can You Go" gave him the unique opportunity to work closely with the production team of keyboardist Harvey Jones (Chris Botti, Donna Lewis) and bassist/production manager, Dave Lorentz (Puff Daddy), along with two time Grammy-winning engineer Jim Janik (Nine Inch Nails, Jennifer Lopez). In addition, Chris is also called upon regularly to do sessions for producer/arranger, Jon Gordon (Suzanne Vega, Madonna). Chris is currently finishing production with songwriter/producer, Scott Cresswell on his debut, "Souvenirs and Photographs". Discography:

Chris has been keeping an active schedule performing and recording with many of the artists listed along with others like Laura Berman, Casey Neil, Holly Jean Cosner, AMO, James Maddock (Wood, Sony Music); violinist, Deni Bonet (Sarah McLachlan, REM), and former epic recording artists, October Project. He recently traveled to Europe for an eleven -week tour with pop-country duo, The Ranchhands, and in 2001, went to Las Vegas to back up Edie Carey in a performance recorded for national television. His recordings with award-winning songwriters, Steve Tannen and Greg Tannen have been heard on The WB network, and recognized in the nation wide publication, "Performing Songwriter".
